Do I need a passport to enter Republic of Ireland from Great Britain? No you don't although it is advisable to have some form of identification (i.e. drivers licence).
What is the situation regarding disabled facilities? Vessels on the Dublin-Liverpool route do not have on board lifts and therefore may be unsuitable for disabled or infirm passengers.
Do senior citizens and students qualify for any discount? Yes, discounted fares are available for senior citizens on the Larne-Cairnryan and LarneTroon routes on production of proof of entitlement for over 60's and production of a valid ISIC card for students.
Will I need a passport if travelling on a P&O Irish Sea route?

A full 10 year passport, valic beyond the date of your return, is required for all trips to Europe.
